Regulatory frameworks typically adopt a risk-based approach focusing on context, potential harm, and the autonomy of systems. Common principles include:

Chief Information Security Officers and executive teams should proactively prioritize AI use mapping, align technical and legal definitions, clarify roles and accountability, and construct monitoring and governance strategies that address both inside-out trust and outside-in security.
