The findings highlight a significant disconnect between public awareness and confidence in government policies regarding AI technology.
The EU AI Act introduces the “AI literacy” principle, which mandates that organizations ensure their staff possess the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use and assess AI systems. This requirement applies to all AI systems, regardless of their perceived risk level, and takes effect on February 2, 2025.
